A key pillar of our long-term vision is environmental sustainability. CVT is proud to operate a micro hydroelectric plant, which currently contributes clean, renewable energy to support our facilities. This innovative project not only reduces our carbon footprint but also exemplifies our commitment to local, sustainable solutions. Looking ahead, we are actively developing Phase 2 of the hydro scheme, with the objective of becoming fully energy self-sufficient. This will allow us to reinvest savings into frontline services, reduce reliance on external energy providers, and serve as a model of green leadership for other community organisations.
